Laura Stilwell's Stage Presence and Movement class
Discover your stage presence!         Perform with confidence and ease!

"Stage presence is the result of discovering the truth in your song through movement and storytelling.  It's the ability to make the audience connect with the performer and envelop the audience into the story being told, and in turn express what the audience feels."
The process will involve:
-Presentation, awareness & visualization exercises, contact with the audience and musicians, breathing and stretching exercises, storytelling technique exercises, staying present from beginning to end of the song, simple and effective physical gestures to enhance your performance, styles of movement - Example: how to move to a Bossa Nova style, vocal exercises to build confidence and allow the singer to perform with ease.

What singers are saying about Laura's Class:
"Laura uses visualization to teach and encourage proper body placement through movement.  As a result, I have learned to stand and present myself  with more confidence.  As a singer, I am learning the value of story-telling with your whole body, not just your voice: the subtle impact you can have with your gestures, posture, and even facial expressions."  -Lori Boone
